Linda Evangelista shared a note on Instagram demonstrating that she has been left “unrecognizable” after the fat-freezing procedure. She stated that a botched cosmetic procedure has rendered her unrecognizable and slaughtered her living. In an announcement shared on social media, Linda said that she has been “permanently deformed” after the cosmetic treatment done five years ago. The 56-year-old said that the fat-freezing procedure “did the opposite of what it promised.” She even  said, “To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers’ careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting procedure.”

She has filed a $50 million lawsuit over cosmetic procedures that she says left her “brutally disfigured” and set her into a recluse.
